Dr Shailja Tewari
MBBS, FRACP
After finishing MBBS Dr. Shailja Tewari undertook residency and Basic Physicians training at The Concord Repatriation General Hospital. She completed a further three years of Endocrinology Advanced training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital. She was awarded fellowship by the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2007.
Strongly following evidence-based contemporary clinical guidelines, Dr. Tewari keeps up to date by regularly attending local and international scientific meetings. Her special interests include managing Endocrine disorders in pregnancy including Gestational Diabetes and thyroid disorders in pregnancy and has worked in this field for over a decade.
