Practice Fees
To ensure the service and level of care we provide our patients is of a high standard, we are a mixed billing practice. Patients who are not eligible for bulk billing are required to pay a fee for their consultations.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!
In order for us to continue providing our patients with the high-quality healthcare they have come to expect from us, we will be implementing an increase in our practice fees. This adjustment will take effect from 6th January 2025 and will apply to all consultations with Dr Magy Nada, Dr Theodora Panopoulos, and Dr Adelina Gendi.
The following groups of individuals will still be eligible to receive our bulk billing services: Pension card holders, Concession card holders, Healthcare card holders, and children who are under the age of 16.
All other patients will need to pay for their consultation fees at the time of their visit.

Endocrinology Fees - Dr Shailja Tewari
Dietitian Fees - Tina Wong
Patients of Southern Doctors Clinic with a valid EPC referral are eligible for up to 5 bulk-billed sessions with a dietitian. Any follow-up consultations after your 5 bulk-billed sessions are $80.00 and you will receive a Medicare rebate of $58.30.
All other patients with an EPC referral will be charged a fee of $90.00 and receive a Medicare rebate of $58.30 for their initial consultation. Any follow-up consultations are charged at $80.00 and you will receive a rebate of $58.30.
Claiming Medicare rebates
Patients who hold a valid Medicare card are entitled to a rebate for their consultation. Once payment has been approved, one of our friendly receptionists will transmit your claim to Medicare.
Once this claim has been transmitted, you can expect to receieve your rebate within 24-48 hours into your nominated bank account. To check/update the bank account details linked to your Medicare card, please click here.
Patients Without a Medicare Card (private patients)
Patients who do not hold a Medicare card can consult with our doctors as a private patient. This means that you are required to pay the full fee for your consultations and services at SDC. You are not eligible for a Medicare rebate.
Our receptionists will provide you with a receipt. With this receipt, you will be able to contact your private health insurance provider and claim. Our receptionist do not assist with insurance claims.
