Free Breast Screening in Campsie!
Did you know that 1 in 7 women in NSW will develop breast cancer in their lifetime?
A breast screen, also known as a mammogram, is an x-ray of the breasts. Mammograms can detect very small breast cancers before they can be seen or felt.
The BreastScreen NSW program is FREE and specifically designed for women aged 50 to 74 with no symptoms. It is recommended that women have a breastscreen every 2 years.
Women visiting BreastScreen NSW Campsie in November will get a free umbrella. All radiographers are female, and screenings are done in private rooms. Gowns are provided, and headscarves can be worn. No referral is required!
