Free Urgent Care Clinic

Urgent care is medical attention that is required within 2-12 hours for an illness or injury that is not life-threatening. When it’s not an emergency but you can’t wait for your GP, urgent care gives you the treatment you need quickly, without waiting in a hospital emergency department.

Carlton Urgent Care Service launched on Tuesday, 30 January 2024. The Carlton service is located at 354 Railway Parade, Carlton and will be open 7 days a week, 8.00 am – 8.00 pm.

To access this urgent care clinic, call Healthdirect on 1800 022 222 and speak to a registered nurse who will triage you.

Treatment is free for Medicare card holders and community-based asylum seekers.
